Today marks 12 years since Michael Jackson passed away. I’ll never forget when I heard the news on the radio as I was picking up my brother from baseball practice and all the pop and r&b stations started playing Michael Jackson’s 🎶 catalog. MTV: TRL Mix

Growing up I use to watch MTV in the mornings before school and TRL after school! My music playlists are filled with every category from Ratchet to Religious to Pop. I have always loved all genres of music, but has someone ever looked at you funny because you don’t “look like the type” to listen to certain music.
